Quality control and quality assurance
Our continuous commitment to guaranteeing optimum quality has resulted in AVEX’s actual market position. We are aware that delivering optimum quality depends on a combination of technical quality (physical product quality) and perceived quality (services accompanying the physical product). We pay much attention to our staff’s education and development in order to ensure the presence of thorough product knowledge and adequate advice in any situation. Our own system engineers keep a continuous feedback going with manufacturers in order to monitor the application of new products whereas our product experts keep a watchful eye on the rapid developments and innovations in the audio-visual industry.

In line with our pursuit of optimum quality, among audio-visual companies AVEX stands out as being ISO9001, as well as VCA certified.

VSI membership
AVEX is a member of the branch organisation VSI. VSI members meet important requirements in expertise, experience, independence and continuity. The VSI has developed a quality document establishing basic principles and criteria to which VSI members have to conform. Adherence to this document is the touchstone for VSI membership and assures the quality to be expected from a supplier of audio-visual equipment. Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility is often characterised as responsible interacting with the 3 P’s: People, Planet and Profit. In this note we want to expand on basic CSR issues to which we think we may contribute our share.

AVEX has been ISO as well as VCA certified since 2004. Fulfilling the conditions put by these certifications comprises interacting in a responsible way with persons, society and environment. But corporate responsibility does not end here. We have described the way AVEX strives to realise its Corporate Social Responsibility on the basis of to the following key themes:

- sustainable purchasing: packaging and recyclability
- energy consumption: lighting and air conditioning
- ICT: printer use, home work, video conferences
- housing: heat and sound insulation
- mobility: CO2 emissions, public transport
- responsible employership: working conditions, staff composition
- integrity
- MBO: local community projects, sponsoring non-profit events
